Neighbor Wilson, When I go to Florida Flywheelers each winter I get to observe all sorts of home made camping rigs and when I see a truck camper mounted flat on a flat trailer (bumper or fifth wheel towed) I reallyyyyyyyyyy get excited. They often store a generator or else extra water tanks or a four wheeler or no tellin what on the front of the trailer under where the truck camper fits over the truck cab and maybe a golf cart etc on the back of the trailer. Its just appeals to me.
Now, I dont think any sort of single crazy wheel or wobble wheel will work out towed behind a pickup using the rear reese hitch. Im afraid theres too much side to side force and she may not track well BUT give her a try what do I know??????????? Im an electrical guy NOT mechanical
Sure, you can attach n rig an alternator to the towed wheel to create energy buttttttttttt (except for our friend Teddy52food) we know the energy required to turn that alternator is greater the energy it can produce due to friction heat losses i.e. the less then 100% alternator efficiency sooooooooo you gain NOTHING AND ACTUALLY LOOSE
Best wishes, if you build it call me I wanna see it and kibitz
PS My best LP Gas price so far is $1.59 for my summer fill
