Mark, you most likely have a 2N if the year of manufacture (1946) is correct. The price is certainly in the range. There are a lot of considerations however, ie. condition of the engine, rings, valves, bearings. Does the hydraulic system work well? You can put 4 or 500 in to tires, what shape are the tires in. And finally completeness, is the unit complete, with original parts intact. You apparently are planning to use the unit for your acreage, but I wouldn't doubt very soon you may be interested in restoring and fixing it up. E-mail me if you have specific questions.
