I just found a local John Deere 1998 riding mower for sale and they are asking 250.00 for it. I don't know anything about the sabre line and I am in pretty desperate need of a riding mower as mine keeps braking down. I have an acre to mow and a not steep but rolling hilled back yard. Does anyone know if this would be a good purchase. I think 250 sounds good but just want to make sure I'm not buying a piece of Junk. It runs and is in good condition as far as I can tell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
