Hello Ron Corkum, Start the engine from cold(OVERNIGHT) or at least 4 hrs after shut down.Then check the heat on the exhaust on each cylinder. If you do not have a temperature gauge, check with your fingers. Just touch each one for a second or so, and compare the heat. At this time the ports should not be really hot enough to burn you. Be careful just the same. You can also try a bit of white lube on each exhaust port, and observe how they melt. If a cylinder is not firing at all the grease will not melt.If its weak it will be last one to melt if at all. Good Luck...................Guido.
