Well at the risk of getting slammed here goes. As I was told,it takes a frontal crash to set off an airbag. In most cases a rollover may or may not set them off. It all has to do with the sensor that controls the bag. Unhooking the battery will not set them off because you are not messing with the sensor. If it is hooked up and you working on the car. You can set them off by hitting the sensor or shorting out the wrong wire. I see nothing wrong with what you did in getting the car home. I know down here if it is a one car wreck and no one is hurt. The cops will not come out.I live in the country and our cops have better things to do. Than come out and tell you. Yep you had a wreck allright.
