[ tom, it sounds like the float needle is sticking shut. take it out and clean it on the sides and also clean the inside of the needle seat. it may have a build up of varnish causing it to stick shut when things exband when they warm up. when things are working correctly the 25lb. fuel pump will flood the carb. you need a pump tha t gives 5-7 lbs max. hope this helps, chuck
