I had a number of those "binders" from the later 60's and early 70's. They were incredibly tough trucks. The engines were the same as used in the Loadstar series and the school busses. The loadstars just got a bigger oil pan and a much bigger radiator, plus the bigger transmissions. The engine family of 304-345-392 were a very tough engine, with maybe the 345 being the most popular.
This particular truck is in the vintage from 1969 to 1975, but I suspect it is a 72 or 73 model. I would need to see the front end to be more definitive. If they had the automatic tranny, it was the Chrysler torqueflite 727.
Like all trucks of this vintage, they succumbed to rust. If they had been made with inner fender liners, they would have lasted many more years.
I drove my '63 IH to Alaska before the pipeline was built. Made some good memories in that truck.
