Too much time in care and feeding to farm very much.
Dont remember the ratio now, but seems like 40A was ruoghly a max for one man. 20A to feed the live stock. 10A for cash crop. 10A for barn, ouse, garden, lots and such.
Took all spring for a man and team to plow and plant 30A. ???
