Have looked without success for the mixture of methanol and water to use for various freezing points. It actually takes very little methanol to add considerable anti-freeze properties to the water. The stuff in your tires is mostly water, I am sure. Mine has had methanol mixture for 23 years in the same tires. No complaints. Be sure to use correct proportions for the mixture.
