1. Spray Roundup, wait, lightly work, plant.

2. Rent neighbor's bigger equipment to get things going the first year.

3. Buy a plow & field cultivator. Plow in fall, work up in spring, plant. (This is what works around here, things may be different where you are, as a roto-tiller is totally unheard of around here, just a waste of power & fuel & works the soil too hard.)
