how to prevent this situation in the future. As we all now Mother Nature has been fickle lately. Here in N. FL we've had 3 yrs. of drought followed by 1.5 weeks of downpour, 12" of rain in one week. That said, my U-Pick operation has been standing in approx. 3-6" of water for over a week. Not to pretty. I am thinking of connecting my turn plow, shortening toplink all the way and using a trencher at the end of rows to try and this drain water. Looking for suggestions/tips. Also, how do y'all plow, set rows and plant to prevent this? I am planning on a cool season crop also and want to reduce damage. Thanks, ShepFL
