Best way to drain a field and . . .

how to plow and set rows to prevent it from happening again or at least minimize loss.

Mother Nature has been fickle lately. 3 yr drought followed by 12" rain in one week. Needless to say the U-Pick operation is standing in 3-6" of water, not looking good on the homefront. Thinking of shortening toplink all the way and using turn plow as a trencher at end of rows to try to drain.

Also, since this is a lesson learned, how do ya'll plan for this when plowing and planting. Thanks in advance.
