: First time I tried to used my 5' brush hog with my 8N and I'm havin trouble with the front of the brush hog diggin in the ground. Only one wheel on the brush hog and its on the back ( i think this is normal) .. I tried just setting the height at one level but the lot is not level ... just slightly hilly ...so it didn't work. I end up diggin up part of the yard. any suggestions?

::::I'll go out on the limb, by saying, it sounds like you are mowing grass and not bushhogging. When bushhogging you really don't care about what is left behind, as long as its laid down and in case of small animals, dead when you come back around.
When mowing with my bushhog, which means I have the deck just off the ground, if I go across a swell or gully, I lift the deck just when the rear wheels hit the bottom of the swell and then lower it when the rear wheels hit the top of the swell.
Its a timing thing that I have to relearn every time I go back out. But after 20 or 30 passes, I usually get better at it. Bonehead
