i would think the same rule would apply to cats as it does to planes, cars and motorcycles the war is the cut off point between antique and vintage or collectable, cars still argue that anything over 25 years old is a classic, but the classic car crowd does not recognise anything built post war as a classic, example a 1957 chevy is not a classic its a collectable, a 1936 cord is a classic,
