It has a in-line fuel filter on it, been that way since I got it, works OK. I had one on my JD 70 for years due to crap in the tank. Finally got the tank cleaned out and put the regular set-up back on. I need the fuel shut-off so it don't leak gas thru the carb. I will try to find some of the yellow teflon tape, Thanks, Chris
