the 254 i ham working on, as soon as you hook a battery up, the solenoid pulls the plunger in, even with the key off. still havent got this tractor started. replaced the glow plugs, 2 out of 3 were bad. i get good smoke huffing out when cranking, and the plunger in the out position, (i disconnected the power feed to the solenoid) but it wont start yet. cant pull start it because the clutch rusted to the flywheel and havent got it broke loose yet. if the plunger is in the in position, there is no fuel to the injectors.
