When the price of went up from $83 to almost $86 a barrel, gasoline at the retail level went up 10 cents a gallon, from $2.85 to $2.95. Now that oil has dropped back to $77 a barrel, gasoline has also dropped...from $2.95 a gallon to $2.93.
Must take longer to get that cheaper oil refined and to the retailer than it does the expensive stuff. Seems like the expensive stuff gets to the retailer the same day they sell it on the world market, but the cheap stuff sometimes NEVER gets to the retailer.
