Mostly what you stated is totally wrong.Any vehicle that crosses state lines over 10,000 lbs gross is required to have a DOT number on its door.And if you don't think State Cops can enforce the DOT Number law then try going thru VA or WVA on I81 and you'll find out differently and the judge will make it stick.
