Nancy, I bought this hay from a buddy at work today. Him and his Dad (who both work regular jobs) do this on the side. Since Dad is a meat cutter at the local grocery he's off work early so he got busy cutting and baling earlier this afternoon. This is Tifton 85, a real popular grass here in S. Texas. I picked up these 25 bales on my way home right out of the field, can't get much fresher than that. My poor little Jap truck was groaning getting home, but we made it AOK. . And here are a couple of pictures of who gets the good hay. Needless to say, these goats are spoiled to the max. The first picture shows me spoiling one of the nanny's and her daughter "Stubby" who was the victim of a gate closing accident with her still part way in the gate!!! The second picture shows one of the boys that is soon to be sold for...........a breeder....or cabrito! >
Happy Stinko Da Mayo..............or whatever they call it.............
