Paul: I went back and reread your earlier notes plus others again. I tend to agree with you.. The question, in part, comes down to how much $$$$ is involved? The larger the amount, the more papers are needed for BOTH sides. I also tend to see people that demand cash as possible problem people. Maybe their hiding a bad engine or sonething else. Did Mike have a formal bill of sale ready with access to a notery-public. Cash is more of a "matcho" thing in a way. The IRS also gave me a complete busness and personal checkout 25 or so years ago and this cash thing is for the birds at times. I'll gladly take a check if there is enough real solid paperwork backing it up. Smaller items are easier to handle with cash-only. Can be a touchie subject..ralph
