: I am doing a project on agricultural evolution in the 20th century, and I need to find out information on a 1927 John Deer Tractor, and a 1929 Huber Tractor. If anyone has info please e-mail me w/ Internet addesses, and such.

In the January/February issue of "TIMELINES" there is an article on the Huber Company of Marion, Ohio. "TIMELINES" is the publication of the Ohio Historical Society located in Columbus, Ohio. Much of the article deals with the founder of the company and with the early steam engines that they built but there is a picture of a BG Road Maintainer and an early 40's Huber tractor. I remember that most of the pictures and many reference were from the Marion, Ohio Historical Society. You should be able to get the phone numbers for both organizations - - they are both in the 614 Area Code.
