You ask if YT's are more 'utilitarian' than TT's? What are the advantages of YT's over TT's? Sadly...Almost everything in our society has become dispossable and this includes tractors. The economy of the world is based on this premise; planned obsolescence. The tractors of 50+ years ago were designed counter to this principle. They were built to last. Will a TT do things faster, take less fuel, and be less poluting?...Sure... So what? I can have 5 YT's that will out last me for the current price of one TT that I will have to replace in 20 years. Maybe less. And besides...YT's are just fun...
