A good friend of mine just had the same problem last year on his 2470. He went with the cheaper cables too. I told him he needed to check out how they where made first but NOOOO I was wrong. I liked it this winter when he had his front blade on, pushing snow, and he could only drive in a circle. Seems that those bargain ones did not have the same seals on the cables as OEM. He had the nerve to call and asked me to do a service call to put the right ones on. I told him I would....... just as soon as it was not twenty below. What he paid in labor in the cold would have bought the correct ones.
