I DIDN'T GET THAT FROM THAT ARTICLE.Where did you get your info on mineral oil for break in oil or for use in general.I would like to read this. I've checked several oil company sites/boards,and several auto/truck sites and can find no info on mineral oil use in I.C. engines.Without an additives package in modern oils,which mineral oil does not have,your engine will not last long.I haven't seen anything about using mineral oil as break-in or extended use.Or maybe you or me are using the term "mineral oil" for different types of oil.
