Why not go for the real thing? {More 42 PTO HP, Live PTO, 2 Year Warranty, The best 3 cylinder Perkins diesel, fuel sipping engine in the World} A 2001 Massey Ferguson MF231S for about $12K. I'm sure your Massey dealer will still be around long after the "others" disappear and if he "doesn't"... which do you think parts and service will be easier to obtain?
