The wider the wheel base and the lower the center of the weight, the better. Many (particularly older) tractors sit tall and proud, but they are not great on slopes. The Ford 8N, like many others, sit relatively close to the ground. Just be sure to use a ROPS and don't push your luck on the slopes.
