Have noticed several posts on well problems. It caught us and good. Had no water so son pushed the reset button and nothing happened. So grab the meters. Control box checked good. checked the wiring going down in well there was no shorts. Pump had to come out of well. 2 1/2 HP stainless steel pump with 22 stages. Had pumped water for dairy procssing plant,the barn and seventy head of cows and the household for 15 years. Not bad! When pump was out the motor and pump was broken apart. There it was the spline on the motor was worn off as well a its mate on the pump. The motor had been running free. Only one fix. New Pump. OUCH We know have water. gitrib
