This year I am trying a few different things in my garden. #1 is a weed cloth sort of stuff so maybe I will have less weeds. #2 a table spoon of Epsom salts in the hole #3 a hand full of semi fresh horse manure in each hole. I dig the hole as deep as the ground is tilled and then put a hand full of the sweet stuff in. Then I put in a hand full of dirt then the Epsom salts then another hand full of dirt. I then set the mater plant in. I also put a dusting of the manure on top of the weed cloth so as to help hold it down and maybe work like manure tea. Just hope all this works or I'll be doing it different again next year
