They are made in China. There is a Northern Tool outlet store up in Columbia (SC) and they have a couple of their four wheel drive tractors on display. I stopped in one day to look at them. They seemed pretty well designed, but the castings were a little on the rough side. The key question, in my opinion, would be service, warranty, and parts availability. You might want to look at some of the utility tractors made in India such as Tafe, Mahindra, or Long/Farmtrac. They are copies of Massey Ferguson, International, and Ford respectively.
