Just about as bad as the local wheeler dealers working their way though the local buy-sell the minute it hits the news stand. Hoping the widows & children of the deceased owner have no clue what something is worth. Then flip it quick to make a fast buck.
Or tire kickers & tourists. We are currently selling a home, suprised how many people just go out to see houses for something to do. Curious to see what their neighbours house looks like inside or to get decorating ideas.
A co-worker sells real-estate on the side. He & his co-horts have several people who show up at the local open houses & new listings. Until the agent knows better these people will talk price, negociate everything but backout at the last second on as many properties as it takes for the agent to wise up to the fact they are decoys.
