When I drained my old Ford,,the stuff was like tar. I talked to a friend in the antique car club and he said that any of the regular high grade gear oils would actually work better than the stuff they used back then. I just filled mine up to the plug in the back cover, and sealed her up. Not sure of the number, but I think it was 90-140,,,but others may know better. Harvey
