We usually get pretty good service - lucky I guess. Wife and I went to a nice restaurant once. Young friendly lady took our order. While we waited for the vittles, a couple was seated at an adjoining table. Same friendly lady came out with menus and asked if she could get the folks something to drink while they looked the menu over. She suggested some sort of alcoholic beverage that was a special at this particular place. The lady patron flew into a hussy fit over the mention of the alcoholic beverage, informing the horrified waitress that she was visiting the city to see a gospel concert. Young waitress apologized profusely and rushed off to fill the order. While she was gone, the grumpy woman complained over and over about a breeze that was chilling her. When the waitress came back, she said, "Where does the draft come from?" The poor waitress stared at her for a second and said, "We have Budwieser, Michelobe, etc." The old gal really blew up that time. I felt sorry for the waitress. My worst experience at a nice restaurant was a woman at a nearby table who, during the meal, loudly described the vivid details of her sister's barium enema, including fluid colors and smell. I thought I was going to urp, and I wanted to make it over to her table before I did. . .

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
