I have a 1973 970 and it is a great little tractor, about 90-95 hp. It starts easy in winter when plugged in and does a lot of work on a tank of fuel. It is a simple machine and isnt bad to work on either. They are a heavy tractor for the hp but sometimes the extra weight is good too. I think for the most part they are a good value for the money. Now I have heard that the power shift models are hard to find parts for.
