If you were raised in North Dakota I guess you know what wheat farmers thought of most row crop tractors especially if they had a narrow front end. An IH M was one of the exceptions and well respected but that wasn't too great doing fall work in late October sitting up there like a popsicle with no protection (cabs came later). Also remember tractors didn't start as a row-crop, row crop tractors were developed as an all purpose tractor for a specific need. Had row crop tractors been superior for wheat farming they would have sold there. One should be careful about brash statements; they expose one too much.
