If you remember, Spook, that law never made it thru the state legislature.... Too much pressure from glass industry, and the beverage sales organizations. Finally, the people had enough and did it thru referendum. Wrote the law, got enough petition signatures, it landed on the ballot, and the people passed it right over the top of the legislature. We may have to do the same to update the law to cover drink bottles not covered by the origional law.
I worked for a county road commission mowing off the sides of the road with a small old tractor and sickle bar mower. Beer bottles were popping under the tires every few feet. We had steel belted truck tires on the tractors -and my team mate and I used to figure we had a good day if we got thru a day withour a flat.
