We put a Hiniker 1300 on a Ford 9000 about 15 years ago. I had the cab on a 2 wheel trailer. I temporarily reinforced the bottom cord of 2 roof trusses in my pole barn with horizontal members and 4 temp legs from the truss bottoms to the barn floor. We used 2 come-along hand winches, one on each side pulling on the lifting hooks. (Don't use cheap HF or similar crappy come-alongs). We backed the trailer into the support area and lifted the cab from the trailer. The top of the cab had to go almost up to the bottom of the truss. Then we pulled the trailer out and drove the tractor in place beneath the cab and started lowering it, one click at a time. That is one darn heavy cab, so stay out from under it as much as possible! We had to take the factory fenders and steps off the tractor, but the steering wheel and all controls stayed in place. It was a considerable improvement to that tractor.
