hy-tran type fuild is used in transmissions with wet clutch plates and/or wet brakes. yes, this fluid will work in your old IHC liftall, but then so will most any clean oil. I think owners manual recommends the same engine oil that will be used in the engine. Yes ATF should work fine if you want to pay the money. good luck. what are you hooking up on that C for lifting?? a cultivator?>
