I've got a F14 which almost the same tractor and they both start the same way. You'll want to be positive its out of gear as your standing in front when it starts. Give it a little gas. You may not need the choke if its warm outside. The main thing is setting the magneto. You retard the magneto (lever turned to the left) to stop the tractor and you need to turn the lever to the right to put it in the correct starting position. However if the magneto is fully advanced it will cause the tractor to "kick like a mule" and that can be dangerous. I back the lever off just a bit and I have never had a kickback. One it starts I push the lever all the way back to the right. When you crank its still the best idea to only pull up for each stroke. If the tractor does kick it will pull the crank out of your hand instead of trying to push it through your and and causing a broken hand. When you crank you should hear the impulse coupling work in the magneto. It will stick once in a while even with proper oiling. I tap on mine with the crank when that happens and it usually will work on the next crank over. If your tractor is in good working order it should start without much effort. They're a good little tractor when you get them running.
