A couple years ago they had a story that the outdoor classic NHL game was going to played on the River and a big grandstand was going to made on the river bank. Last year though they had a very convincing story that bylaw officers were going to take DNA tests of dog poop that wasn't picked up so they could fine the owner of the dog. It was just a small article a few pages in so it didn't seem obvious. It was going to be a requirement to give a stool sample when you got your dog license renewed and if you already had your license, you had to bring in a sample. Lots of people believed that one.
