Lots of people are struggling. Some have gotten jobs in the Quad-cities which is approx 45 miles NW. Others have went to Peoria, which is approx 35 miles SE. One person I know drives to the Quad-cities 6-7 days a week. The gas bill is around $300.00 per month in a car that gets 30mpg.
