I am narrowing up the front axle for 30 inch rows on a Case 2090. I have the two big bolts out on each side that connect the two sliding axle tubes. Is there some sort of bushing that goes in from the front through the outer tube into the inner tube???? Looking at the inner tube sticking out of the outer tube (set for 38 inch rows now) it seems like the holes are bigger on front than the back. How do I get these bushings out????? Do you have any tips on sliding the axle together????? Tap it with a sledge hammer????? Thank you.
