Yea, we are running short on food, thats why we have all this surplus and the prices are so low. Get real, NOBODY in the US is going to go hungry becasue these farmers cant farm this year. Knowing all to well how farmers can cry and complain, I'm sure the government will be sending them some money for their troubles. That way instead of working one or two months a year and getting their government checks, they won't need to work at all and they will still get their checks. Another thing I wonder about, is how it is that when farmers have a bad year because of the weather, the government baisl them out, yet others whow income depends upont he weather don't get this help. If a contractor can't work because it rains all the time and he looses all his money and goes out of buisness, nobody cares, there is no government check to help him out. By the way, do you live in Oregon? If not, why don't you go worry about your own state, and stop using California against Oregon. Except for Portland, the State of Oregon is very conservative. In fact just about everyone in Oregon except those who came here from California, hate California.
