You need to prepare yourself to survive this whether she returns or not. The others are right. The divorce is far worse than her walking now , especially if you have kids (which for the most is determined by her acts , not yours in most cases.) She sounds high maintenence and it won't be worth it. Her wonderful family is irrelevant if you two can't make it together. Stop convincing yourself that if she doesn't shape up all hope is lost. At the risk of being crass , it seems pretty clear she got you wrapped around the proverbial little finger. That is not the recipe for success. It has to be a partnership or it is doomed . Good Luck. Follow your head not your heart. That heart strategy will leave you crying every time.
