If you have all mechanical hydraulic system, that is, engine driven pump and manual spool valves, then you should be able to raise the bucket while cranking the engine if you have a good battery and good starter.

Alternately, you may be able to use prybars and floor jack. Get the bucket high enough to get a floor jack under it. You may have to hold the lever in the "raising" position to allow oil to escape from the opposite side of the cylinders.

Chain up or block up. I was fortunate enough on my CASE to put 4X4's across on the loader frame and under the lift arms to hold the bucket up during transportation.
