Tractor Blue Book

Is there an equivilent of the automobile Blue Book for tractors? I can't seem to find anything of the sort. Without experience it seems it would be real easy to get burned buying a tractor. I've been trying to learn by going to auctions but get baffled when I see situations where you have two identical tractors and one might go for $4000 and the other for $8,000. I have no idea if one is getting a good deal or the other person just got ripped off. I need a good book to help me understand what's going on. Maybe a good internet site would help but you can't take a laptop to an auction.
