On top of that, I don't care one way of the other. Saddam claimed he did indeed have them. He violated, over and over, the inspection aggreements he had made during the first Gulf-Kuwait war. So, he overtly violated post-war aggreements with us, he stated over and over he had a pile of heavy duty weapons, the majority of the rulers in our government deemed him a worthy threat, and we - as a nation - and NOT as one president - took him out.
Funny that with 20-20 hindsight, so many people afterwards blame it on the "stupid" George Bush. Gee, for a guy that was just one of many of our top decision makers, never had the power of a dictator, and was so dumb - amazing how much he got done - ALL on his own?
