I was pretty young when Dad bought a 1952 Case DC with F10 on it at a neighbor's estate sale. Another neighbor actually drove it home for Dad. I was fascinated that it had an Atlas mud tire on the standard wide front, never saw something like that on a tractor. Dad said the pickup tire made the tractor steer too hard with the Farmhand. (I've never seen it steer easy with any kind of tire on the front!) Dad used TSC tires (Huskee I think?) on it for years. Dad had to get it overhauled when he bought it, I think that was 1965-67? Never been apart since, still using it today but it does use some oil. Still runs good. Not used so much since I went to round bales instead of loose stacking. All it can do to lift the bales my new Hesston baler makes. Hard to imagine how many tons of hay that tractor has put up and fed in the last 49 yrs! Would be a humungous pile!!!!
