My Ford 3000 diesel (1966 - 3cly) started smoking recently and got worst as I used it. It got so bad as to have oil dripping down out of the muffler and hitting the exhaust manifold. I have not heard any unsual noises. The coolant in the radiator has not gone down. The level of oil in the crankcase keeps getting overfull. It appears that diesel is getting into the crankcase oil. The level of the hydraulic fluid has not gone down. It does appear to be using too much fuel. The tractor does not have power steering. I spoke with a local Ford tractor repair shop/dealer. They suggested I change the seal in the Simms in line fuel pump. The seal was changed and this did not fix the problem. Does anyone hae any experience they would share as to what my problem may be? More importantly what is the cure? Thanks. Ken
