I have older pull type Sunmaster that has a full shield all the way around the back with 3 in. holes in the back side. the front is open for pickup. it does a real nice job of mulching the grass so that there is little or no mes after cutting. I added a hydraulic lift to it and that made it easy to control the height. This thing is built like a tank with heavy sides top and a massive gear box. I understand they are not made anymore to bad.
