The owners manual will tell you what weight oil you need to put in your engine for the conditions it is to be used. You get that oil, with the proper weight any brand will do. just make sure it meets your enigne requirements. Change it as recommended, and you're done. If you go shyntetic, change the filter at 1/2 the oil drain interval. I go 1 year with shyntetic, change the filter the first 6 months. Then change both the cranckase and the filter at 12 months.
